@bigbags – We wanted to make sure visitors understood the annotation capabilities of YouTube, despite being around for a while it seems (based on the feedback) that a lot of people still had no clue it was an option.

Keeping users oriented was a priority, so at times we may have been a bit didactic. It’s not a complicated website once you use it a couple of times but we wanted to make sure we didn’t lose too many people in that first engagement.
