Balloons And The Fish Market

Sometimes something is so utterly terrible that you can’t help but share it. It’s much like the feeling you get when someone farts on the other side of the room. People start wrinkling their noses in disgust and evacuating the area… but you don’t believe how wretched the smell is.  The testimony of half of the room isn’t enough to satisfy your curiosity. You have to find out for yourself how bad it really is.

And now I invite you to partake in the most appallingly put together videos you’ve seen since Charley the Unicorn.

Amazing Music Video… Twice

Ok, so I have been a fan of Sia for a while.  I thought it appropriate to post the video of one of my favorites from a long list of her songs.  Both videos are of the same song, one was live, the other not.  You’ll be able to tell which is which.

Not only is the song amazing, but the video(s) are equally creative and amazing.

Things I Learned From A Movie

Yesterday I watched the movie Peaceful Warrior. The acting was average, and the script was pretty cliche at times, but the overall message was really fantastic. Here are some examples of things that I learned from this movie. My goal now, is to apply them like an insecure girl applies makeup… generously and without shame, for they lead to happiness.

“There’s no greater purpose than service to others.”

Life has just three rules: Paradox, humor and change.
Paradox – Life is a mystery. Don’t waste time trying to figure it out.
Humor – Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. IT is a strength beyond all measure.
Change – Know that nothing stays the same.

“Death isn’t sad. The sad thing is: most people don’t live at all.”

“Those who are the hardest to love, need it the most.”

“The journey is what brings us happiness not the destination.”

These truths are simple and easy to remember. But putting them into practice is the trick, and I daresay it could change your life and make you… happy. And what is better than that?

Watch it. Thank me later.
