In reading your comments it seems to me that someone should look at this observation from different perspective. When in the dating years, we often put our BEST foot forward, not daring to show who, or what, we really are or are capable of being. Those of the opposite sex see what they choose to see, often blind to what is already there. Shift your prism, deary, and see that you all (the opposite sex)are trying to get your cake and eat it too. What you want is a girl who has depth, intellengence,a sense of humor, confidence(but only to the point that it doesn't threaten your manliness)direction in life, a superior sense of fashion and can handle herself in an argument. Oh, and DANG, she'd better look good in bootie shorts! Perhaps there are a few young ladies out there who fit the bill, but we (the other opposite sex) rarely fit the "Mary Poppins" menu that you expect to be available for perusal. It's frightening! When I find these types of people getting to me, I take a step or three back, and that's when I have to go to the parents' (or neighbors') house...to get back to being normal. :) Laughing, bodily functions, jokes, hugs, junk food, staying up late, video games and all. It looks to me like a lot of people like these types of girls….look how many there are, and how many of them are getting married and having their own mini-Marys! It’s frightening!
