My Birthday Wish

It’s my birthday.

I’m not a big fan of gifts or attention, but I figured I get one day a year where it’s 100% justified that I steal the show, I might as well take advantage of it.

If you consider yourself my friend, I want you to get me a gift… only not that type of gift. Sometime in the next week, reach out and do something for someone. Lend a hand. Do a favor. Pay it forward. Do some good on my behalf to someone in need and  then let me know what you did in the comments section. I’d really like that.

    I was stuck at work when I read this, and not really in the mood to do something nice for one of my co-workers. Yes, this says way more about me than them…
    But I really wanted to take you up on this challange. So I sorta took a “lazy” way out and made a loan at Kiva in celebration of your birthday. I call it lazy, ’cause all I really had to do was open my wallet and not even leave my chair. But I do believe that microloan organizations like Kiva have a great impact by allowing entreprenuers worldwide to improve not only their own situation, but usually that of their entire community.
    So Happy Birthday Bags! a father of 3 in Kenya is now closer to getting the funds he needs for his business.
