Of Twitter, PCs and Relentless Dating Advice

Aerodynamic MacI’m loving writing for the paper, can I just tell you that? There’s nothing more satisfying that strolling across campus to see someone sitting in a quiet corner grinning over a piece you put a lot of effort and creativity into.  I hope the feeling of ‘being read’ never fades… cause I love it.

In this weeks paper, I obliterated the competition in a Mac vs PC pro/con piece. I feel bad for all of the Mac fanboys out there.

I continued my endless barrage of dating advice.  As a good friend of mine said in a comment on my recent column, “Those who can’t do, teach.” How true that is.

Lastly, I educated the populous of UVU on the awesomeness of Twitter, albeit in a less than satisfactory manner.

I’m really hoping to keep this passion alive, and the only way I can do so is if people like you continue to read my goods.

Hi, I’m a Mac…AND a PC. I believe I’m an anomaly (especially in the photography world), but I own both and LOVE both. That might have a little to do with my built-in tech support though and also that I’m lucky enough to use Windows 7 (which is awesome, and I probably wouldn’t use a pc if I had to use Vista or XP or something).

Oh, and by the way, I priced out my pc desktop (which my bf and I built…mostly him) on the apple website, and for about the same specs (but with a better processor) I saved myself around $7000 by going with the pc. I know not everyone’s lucky enough to have a computer genius at the tips of their fingers, but it worked well for me! He’s also been able to fix things as well as install a new harddrive in my mac.
