So for as long as I’ve been lurking on this blog, I love that I decide to comment on this one, but I just want to give a rousing shout of approval here. This week I went to the Andrew Bird concert, and when I would just mention I was going to a concert this week, people assumed it was the Vanilla/Hammer concert. “Um, no,” I’d say, “because I am a person of TASTE and STANDARDS and feel no need to touch that, no matter how tempting it may seem to the rest of the unwashed masses with their outstretched hands.”
Some may tell you that drawing a comparison between slavery or Nazis and this concert is ridiculous, so I just want to put in my support and tell you that if you were doing analogies on the GRE, you’d get an 800.

Bags I didn’t go to Mc Hammer or VI either. You know why? Because I don’t need to relive second grade all over again for thirty bucks. So I completely agree with you. It was a waste. I would rather spend my money on a good band.
